Moments from July 🏛️🌊 A month living inside The Odyssey by Homer Life in July was inspired by The Odyssey, the second book selected for my literary lifestyle series, where I spend a month living Iike I’m inside my favourite books. This month I took trips to the ocean, read Greek mythology retellings, spent time learning about mythical creatures and collected seashells on the beach. (I was even lucky enough to find a hag stone!) I found myself drawn to wearing my favourite pieces of pearl jewellery, neutral tones for my outfits and I purchased the most beautiful brown bag with a Greek style pattern imprinted in the leather. The Odyssey and The Iliad have been two of my favourite stories since reading them in high school. With the latest film adaptation coming out last month, it was the perfect time to fully immerse myself into this world. July truly didn’t feel long enough, I found so many things I could do to fill the month with Odyssey inspired moments. I decided I need to stay with Greek mythology a little longer and dive into one of my most loved books next, Circe by Madeline Miller 🧡 Have you read any of these books?
